    NOW HIRING FOR THE 2022/2023 SCHOOL YEAR We work with school-aged children with challenging behaviors. Locations: o Meridian o Sedro-Wooley o Burlington o Mt Vernon o Anacortes o Lakewood o Arlington o Marysville o Lake Stevens o Everett o Shoreline o Lake Washington (cities are Kirkland/Redmond) o Bellevue 32.5 HOURS PER WEEK, MONDAY-FRIDAY, CONSISTENT SCHEDULE! WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING You will help one student at a time. You will assist the teacher and/or behavior analyst with reducing challenging student behavior, nurture social and other daily life skills, and assist with student learning. The student can be unpredictable and can present a potential danger to themselves and others, you will ensure the safety of the classroom. WHAT YOU WILL BRING Kids like you! You can coach and be coached You are calm and patient You recognize behavior changes in people You are agile to physically respond quickly and accordingly You know when to back off or step in You are naturally curious You are independent GREAT TO HAVE BUT NOT REQUIRED An interest in personal development Motivated Organizational Skills Paraprofessional Certification Certified Behavior Technician (WA State) and/or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT - BACB) Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Education, ABA, or a related field TRAINING PROVIDED Paid 40-hour training program that provides instruction applicable to those we support.
