We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant or Homecare Aid to join our teams as a Direct Support Professional. You will play a vital role in providing care and support to individuals with developmental delays. Duties:
Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental delays
Assist with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Administer medications according to prescribed instructions
Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding
Engage individuals in social and recreational activities
Provide emotional support to clients
Monitor and document individual progress towards habilitative and behavior support goals
Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals at all times
Maintain a clean and organized living environment
Shift Options:
We are currently hiring:
Part time: 6am-3pm Saturday and Sunday
Part time: 3pm-11pm Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
Full time: 6am-7pm Saturday, 6am-3pm Sunday, 3pm-11pm Monday and Tuesday
Full time: 3pm-11pm Wednesday-Sunday
Requirements:
Previous experience in childcare, care for individuals with developmental delays, nursing, or caregiving is preferred.
Ability to pass background check
HCA, CNA, nurse delegation, beneficial but not required as training can be completed after hire.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time
Knowledge of resident rights and social work principles
Knowledge of infectious disease care protocols
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (if required)
18 and older
